About Eunsol Choi at New York University (NYU)

Professor Eunsol Choi is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Data Science at New York University, and a member of the CILVR group. Her research focuses on understanding real-world language use and building simple, generalizable models for natural language processing. She is particularly interested in developing benchmarks and analysis methods that help evaluate and diagnose NLP systems, as well as extending progress in English NLP to a broader range of languages. Her current research interests include continual learning and knowledge editing in large language models, long-form question answering that integrates information retrieval and text generation, human–LM interaction, and spoken language processing. Prior to joining NYU, Professor Choi was an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin and a researcher at Google AI in New York City. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington, where she was advised by Luke Zettlemoyer and Yejin Choi.
