Dr. Yang Song is an Earth system scientist and Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, specializing in climate-terrestrial ecosystem interactions. Her research integrates multi-disciplinary knowledge and multi-scale data to model and understand complex Earth system processes. She holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, an M.S. in Ecology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Beijing.
