Fengxia Geng Suda

Professor Fengxia Geng is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Energy, Soochow University, and a recognized expert in the field of materials science. She has been selected for several prestigious national and provincial talent programs in China, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Young Talent Program, and Jiangsu Distinguished Professor, reflecting her outstanding research achievements and academic leadership. Her research focuses on non-van der Waals two-dimensional materials, with particular emphasis on their synthesis, exfoliation mechanisms, structural characterization, and physical and chemical properties. She also conducts extensive research on graphene and other two-dimensional materials, including controlled synthesis and functionalization. In the area of energy materials, Professor Geng’s work covers advanced battery technologies such as alkali metal ion batteries, multivalent ion batteries, and lithium–sulfur batteries, as well as flexible energy storage devices and photo-/electrocatalysis. Her research aims to develop novel materials and devices for next-generation energy conversion and storage applications.
