Samuel Z. Goldhaber, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a senior physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he directs the Thrombosis Research Group. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. His research focuses on the diagnosis, management, and outcomes of thromboembolic and cardiovascular conditions, with core themes including venous thromboembolism (VTE), pulmonary embolism (PE), atrial fibrillation, acute myocardial infarction, and antiphospholipid antibody syndromes.
