Howard L. Weiner

Howard L. Weiner is the Robert L. Kroc Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Partners Multiple Sclerosis Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Weiner's research program is fundamentally centered on the intersection of immunology and neurology, with a primary focus on understanding and treating multiple sclerosis. His work has been instrumental in elucidating the roles of T-cells and B-cells in autoimmune neuroinflammatory processes.
